• We start with a full inspection of your carpets.

• We listen to your concerns, look for problem areas, and talk through the cleaning options that best fit your goals and your budget.

• Nothing is done without your approval.

2. Property Protection Setup

​

Before any equipment comes inside, we put down:

• Corner guards

• Baseboard and hard-floor protectors

• Doorway and hose protection

• We only use booties to walk on clean carpets when applying post treatments

This keeps your home clean from start to finish.

3. Vacuuming (If Needed)

​

If vacuuming hasn’t been done beforehand, we’ll handle it for you.
Just a heads-up: vacuuming adds time and therefore increases the cost — but it’s an important step when needed. 

​

4. Pre-Conditioning (Soap Application)

​

Every carpet we clean is treated with a professional pre-conditioner.
Depending on your situation, this may include:

• Premium detergent (ALWAYS INCLUDED)

• Enzyme-based solutions (Upgrade)

• Specialty pet treatments (Upgrade)

• Targeted cleaners for specific issues (case dependent)

This step is included in every cleaning.

5. Agitation (When Required)

​

To help break down deep soil, we may use:

• Manual agitation

• Machine agitation (CRB or restoration tools)

Machine agitation increases cleaning time and cost, and is normally only needed when carpets are heavily soiled or worn.

We also remind customers:
If your carpets need machine agitation, they are usually well past the point of being under manufacturer warranty.
CRB offers even greater cleaning for Carpets that may still be under warranty. However, there is no absolutely no beating the power of a restoration machine for the most severe jobs.

6. Hot Water Extraction (Deep Cleaning)

​

Once Vacuumed, pre-treated and agitated, we begin the extraction phase using slow, overlapping cleaning and drying passes.

Your carpets are rinsed with:

• Hot Water "Steam" up to 280° (when appropriate)

• A fabric-softening, neutralizing rinse to remove residue

• A high-powered vacuum system — the strongest truckmount in our market (3x larger then average) — to pull out soil, moisture, and leftover soap

This is the part that leaves your carpets fresh, soft, and deep-cleaned.

7. Spot & Specialty Treatments

​

Throughout the cleaning, we treat spots individually using the right product for each specific type of stain.
No “one-chemical-for-everything” shortcuts.

8. Post-Treatments (Optional Add-Ons)

​

If you choose any post-cleaning services, we apply them now:

• Topical deodorizer

• Additional pet treatments

• Factory-grade stain protection

After applying these, we gently agitate them into the carpet fibers.
This will remove those satisfying cleaning marks — sorry! — but it’s the right way to apply protectants properly.

9. Fast Drying

​

If you purchased a premium or restoration process, we will:

• Set up air movers to speed up dry times

• Leave fans overnight when appropriate (full restorations only)

10. Clear Expectations About Time & Cost

​

We work as efficiently as possible, but cleaning carpets the right way takes time.

• More steps = more time

• More time = higher cost

We promise to never recommend services that don’t genuinely benefit you. Our full service "kitchen sink" package is always ideal but not always essential.
